The mid-year meeting of the Alabama Ornithological Society was held January 26-28, 1973 at Guntersville, Alabama. The val Monte Motel served as headquarters. A business meeting of the members was held in the Club House of the Val Monte Restaurant January 27, 1973 immediately following a buffet dinner at 6:30 PM. Mike Bierly presided.
