The semi-annual meeting of the Alabama Ornithological Society was held on April 21-23, 1961, at DeSoto State Park. Tom Imhof presided at the husiness meeting which was held Saturday night. In the absence of the secretary, no minutes were read, but these had previously been published in Alabama Birdlife. Clustie McTyeire was appointed to serve as secretary for the meeting.
