During the ye ar 1962 we banded a total of 2253 birds of 101 species. All these were banded at Brownsboro (5 miles east of Huntsville) except 8 at Birmingham and 19 at Dauphin Island. The great majority of the birds were caught with mist nets; the remainder with Alabama Quail traps.
