AOS Covid Policy for the Fall Meeting:

Social distancing and vaccinated status is required for all AOS functions including outings.

We will ask everyone to wear a mask during AOS events indoors except when eating or drinking.

Given the resurgence of new Covid variants and the low vaccination rate, AOS is unwilling to ask our normal guides to lead close groupings of birders on narrow paths to see woodland birds. Hence, there is no “Around the Island” outing for this meeting. We are sorry about this but the health of our members and guests is paramount. There will be many AOS members out and about who will be more than happy to share sightings and point out birds. We look forward to seeing everyone in October, especially on the beach!

Also, because of the new Covid threat, there will be no gathering at Jennie Stower’s house.  Hopefully next year.
